Grand Canyon // 2022

My Uncle Harry was a prominent photographer for almost all of his life until it abruptly ended in 1992. As I became a photographer myself, I’ve always had a great interest in who he was and his approach to photography. Unfortunately, I was only nine when he died and was unable to really know him. This trip to the Grand Canyon was because of him, and it was very special for my mother and I. To fully understand what this trip was about, watch the video below.

Once we arrived in Las Vegas, we hopped in our convertible Ford Mustang and hit RT66 to the Grand Canyon. We made it to our spot right in time for sunset, returned for sunrise, and then headed back to Vegas to come home. I even caught COVID on the trip. But taking my mom on this experience was worth it.
