Glacier // 2020

I first drove into Glacier National Park in the dark, all the way to Wild Goose Island. As I traveled along the mountain ridges on Going to the Sun Road, I could see the moonlight reflecting like a mirror off the distant glaciers and sheets of ice and snow. Cold and powerful wind pushed against me as I caught the sunrise over the eastern range, and my admiration for Glacier was intensified. Though half of the park was closed to protect the Blackfoot Tribe of eastern Montana, the western half we were able to explore left me longing for a grand return.
