DOLOMITES // 2023

While in Europe for a month this summer, we took a little time to explore the Dolomites. This is an incredible part of Italy, though it is culturally more Austrian/German than it is Italian. I wish we could have spent several weeks here, but we made the most of the time we had. Going in shoulder season had its pros & cons. It was great exploring these places with very small crowds, but the weather and limited openings proved to be a bit of a hindrance and source of frustration. Regardless, we were able to see and do nearly everything we wanted to.
