These are highlights from the annual meetup in the California desert. A selection of ghost towns, landscapes, walkabouts, and group gatherings. I was joined this year by Mike Chudley, and experiencing a place I’ve been many times through his eyes was really a joy for me. It’s easy to forget how special and weird these places are.
