WINTER DESERT MEETUP
FEB 19 - 21, 2026
Join me and several other photographers out in the desert of California for a few days of hangs, landscapes, abandoned towns, and whatever else we get into along the way. This is a social event - not a workshop.
The annual desert meetup will home-base out of Ridgecrest, CA this year. From this spot we’ll travel up and down 395 to some great locations. We will first meet for sunrise on February 19th, and head out sometime Saturday the 21st.
What to expect…
This is a free event. This is not a workshop.

You will book your own lodging.
We’ll visit places up and down 395.
We’ll be logging some miles between spots.
Weird desert places and people.
There will be a loose schedule released the week before.

You must RSVP to be included in our group. That said, do not RSVP unless you plan to attend. While this is a free event, our team takes planning it serious and the agenda will be determined by the group size. If you RSVP and then don’t show up, that creates a problem for our team.
